I live in NY. The winter here is cold and dry, especially when I have the heat on all day long. After a few weeks of using it, I think it is one of the best humidifiers I’ve ever used, as it effectively balances the dryness in my room, really easy to set up. It can hold substantial amounts of water and lasts much longer than I expected. Definitely worth a try and super easy to clean.
This humidifier is easy to set up, easy to fill, and the water container is as described. As soon as you turn it on, you can see the mist puffing out. It works well and is easy to use. The nightlight can be turned on or off. The controls are simple.
The LED indicator lights are very bright in the controls. Fine for daytime, but even the tiny indicator dots can illuminate a dark room.
There is an audible electrical motor noise when it is running. It would be fine to use in a room where other sounds are present, or for use during the day. For our house, we wanted to use it overnight in the bedroom and find the noise really annoying. It’s not a consistent sound, so it’s hard to ignore it.
If it weren’t for the sound, I would recommend this as an easy-to-clean, well-working unit.

Mighty little unit. I have had 2 for 2 weeks and I am very happy with this purchase. Truly easy to keep clean. I keep a glass 1 gallon jug next to the unit for easy refills. I see no need to pay for the $200 brands when this one works great. Also very quiet. I added a solar power hygrometer to my order since this unit doesn’t have one built in.
