Great Quality BUT an Oversight on design for the stated machines IMO
At first I thought wow, this is pricey for an import cover when full car covers are about the same price but I decided to roll the dice and order it. I was pleasantly surprised. The material seems to be waterproof and relatively high quality compared to the care covers I have ordered here and it has good, durable stitching.
I installed it on my Miller Bobcat and it fits fine for a “universal” style cover but my gripe… my only real complaint actually… is that it doesn’t have a pocket or relief of any kind for the Exhaust pipe that sticks up a solid 6-8 inches above the top of the welder/generator or the lifting Eye in the center that sticks up a good 3 inches. I will most likely go to an upholstery shop and see if they can use a similar fabric to cut and sew in a pocket for the exhaust and lifting eye because otherwise those will for sure destroy this cover much more quickly. That’s the only reason I dinged it a star but maybe that isn’t justified since the picture shows it without those pockets??? I don’t know, maybe I should give it 5 stars but they should at least give some sort of material to lay over any top protrusions on the welder/generator so they don’t tear the cover prematurely.
Anyway, I think it is a decent value at the $90 price point (at the time of this review) and I would order it again but if the price goes up??? I would probably look for one that had the exhaust and lifting eye pockets already.
Needed Protective Cover for Welder Generato
Engine welder generator cover is made from strong waterproof material. Fits my Bobcat. I like the zipper and strong handles. Bought it to protect my welder generator during extended storage time in garage and also while I transport it in my truck. I think the price is fair, because it is well made.
Hopefully it will extend the life of the generator by protecting it from the dust, sun, and rain. The cloth protects from UV rays. I do recommend this cover. Makes my garage look neater.
Breathable material but Still water Resista
I decided to order this generator cover because I have multple welders/Plasma cutters sitting the basement gathering dust and cobb webbs. Previously I had plastic over them but I realized that humidity might get trapped inside and corrode vital components so this 600D Oxford cloth cover seems like a great tradeoff providing protection from dirt, dust and water but alllowing a breathable medium. The matetial is very thick with a type of gray insulation fabric like you see on Soft Coolers. Although it doesnt display its true shape from the photo its quite large with a zipper in the center and adjustable straps on the ends. I can definitely see this holding up to the weather.
Double Thickness, Zipper Access, Tightening Straps, Very Durable!!
I was hesitant to order this welder cover because of the price. I have now covered my generator with the cover. The expense has been validated. The cover is thick, 600D Oxford Cloth is stated on the product page. This cover almost covered two generators bumped end to end but didn’t quite stretch that far. The cover is huge, lined, thick and the durability factor definitely shows. There is a zipper and also straps that can be tightened. I sat the generator wheels on the edge of the cover because it was so large that tightening the straps didn’t pull it enough to make a difference. I don’t have a welder but if I did this cover most definitely would be my choice of protection. If you are in need of a welder cover don’t hesitate to purchase this double thickness cover. You won’t be disappointed.

El cover es de lo mejor de lo mejor!! Es muy resistente, grueso, y fuerte. Puedo resumir y decir en cortas palabras que la calidad es superior en todos los aspectos. Es mucho mejor de lo que esperaba!! Estuve hace unos das en Puerto Rico y ayud a mi mam a remover de su generador elctrico una gasolina que le hecharon con mezcla de trimmer y le cambi el spark plug y gracias a Dios ahora est funcionando nuevamente. Su planta elctrica definitivamente necesitaba un cover para protegerla ya que ella vive cerca de la playa y la sal en el aire hace que las cosas se pudran y cojan moho. Ella vino conmigo para mi casa en Estados Unidos cuando yo volv de regreso a mi casa, y mientras ella estaba en casa veo este cover en Amazon para mquina de soldadura de gran tamao y rpido analizo y digo, puede funcionar para su generador elctrico. Ese es el momento cuando empiezo a mirar bien la informacin y veo la opinin de otro cliente que adquiri el cover para su generador elctrico, l dijo en su opinin que su generador elctrico era de 12,000 watts y lo mostr con algunas fotos. Pues yo dije eso puede funcionar para la de mi mam que la de ella es de 6500. Entonces, gracias a esa opinin me convenc y dije, le va a funcionar. La ped y lleg rpido, creo que al otro da. Mi mam estuvo solo 5 dias en casa y cuando volvi a Puerto Rico a su casa rpido le sac fotos y un video y aqu estoy yo compartiendo ahora para que otros tambin puedan beneficiarse de mi opinin.
Quiero enfatizar que los amarres rojos que tiene el cover en ambos extremos lo hace muy til ya que puedes puedes amarrar y sujetar fijamente el cover al generador. Mi mam est encantada y yo sper feliz por el regalo que le pude hacer.

The material is durable feeling and thick enough where it doesn’t seem like it will crack or rip easily. The size represented in the product description is exactly what it says it is. Well made and looks great. Highly recommended.
