Puts out great heat however I don’t know if may my thermostat is not working properly? I set the thermostat to 63 and an hour later my room is 72 degrees!! I can’t seem to figure out if maybe it is me because the instructions on how to set it are not very clear.
There’s not even much on the internet on “how to” videos on this model.
I like the heater and it puts out anwesome and quick heat but it doesn’t regulate the temperature at all. I’d appreciate it if the seller replied to me because I definitely would love to keep it and not return it if it’s user error- I’d be happy to change it to 5 stars if we could fix this issue. Please help.
Update: the seller got back to me and sent me some pictures of how to set it for temperature regulation vs a timer option.
Couple of quick things when buying this item. I was using the timer function and setting the temp thinking once it reached temp it would turn itself off. It just continues to run when on timer setting. Also the temperature is set to go up to 8 degrees above the set temp to ensure the room stays warm. So keep that in mind. I believe this is why I was having issues. I didn’t know this and it wasn’t on the directions nor the description page.
I wanted my room to stay at about 63 degrees but the temp in the room would regularly go up to 71-72 degrees. So now I set the temp to 56-60 degrees knowing it will go up to 8 degrees above what I set. This has worked much better for us and now its keeping the temp even in the room.
I’m grateful for seller reaching out as the unit does produce quick heat and it’s easy to install. Now that I know how to properly use the unit I changed the rating to 5 stars as now it is working as it should.
Good for small spaces
This is a nice source of heat for a small bathroom. I have it hanging off my tall bar facing the shower so that when I get out, it is nice and warm in my bathroom. I tried hanging it off the wall up towards the ceiling, but it did not do a good job of warming the entire bathroom. I really appreciate the hook that makes it easy to hang from the towel bar, and I will be able to easily store it over this summer.
I don’t usually start out a review by stating the things I don’t like but I’m making an exception. This heater lists at almost a hundred bucks which makes it expensive. Yet, they cannot even include the batteries for the remote; the instructions are written in such small print I needed to take a picture with my phone and enlarge it to be able to read them. And, you will need the instructions because the operation of the remote is not intuitive.
I’ve only had this heater for a couple of days and am using it to heat a very small home office (about 60sf). I installed it on the wall so it is out of the way and it is doing an adequate job of heating the small room. A couple of the features that I especially like are the ability to operate the heater with a remote and that it will automatically shut off after a specified period of time so I do not have to worry about whether I remembered to turn it off. It is also very easy to install and light-weight so I did not have to be concerned about hanging it on the wall.
So, I already knew what I was getting when I researched this product.. No one makes a POS and puts a Qualcomm chip in it.. It was meant to be a real thing.. The other chip manufacturers not far behind.. This is a solid purchase.. Tip tho… If you can’t seem to get this to go higher than 73 degrees.. Bring in a heat source that cooks the shat out of the room.. You prolly only have to do this once but, this chips seem to learn when it’s hottest and will maintain what ever temp you want.. You’d think it would be the other way around, it’s not.. Being colder doesn’t help, you need to cook that room and let the chips learn the heat.. I haven’t had to change it, and now it heats up to 85 degrees anytime I turn it on if I want.. I know that sounds weird but… These chips need to learn hot, not cold… It only took me two times to know this happened…
