L shape not just for showers.
This will not work in my shower area like I planned, but thats on me for not looking at the shape first. I planned on using this area as a storage and book nook which would be cute as a reading nook. It is a good quality, I did not originally see the ceiling wire needed to support the l shape. It makes sense it needs that, I was just a littlw thrown off. Seems easy to install. Ill update with the look as we complete this project.
Excellent shower rod system for any place open on two ends
Our old family home had the capability for a shower, but my dad like baths and never installed a shower curtain. My brother now lives in the house and when I saw this I asked him if I could install it (I don’t really like going into his bedroom to use the shower and I don’t like taking baths when I stay there).
I think this shower curtain rod is a very good value; easy for two people to install (would be difficult for one person); and can be adjusted to many sizes.
Pictures show a 60″ tub with no rod; 2nd photo shows rod installed; 3rd picture shows a liner on rod. If you use on a tub this size, you actually need to order a 84″ wide liner and shower curtain on amazon. The standard 72″ wide curtain comes up short as seen in picture.
Shielding the Bath from Water Spray, While Creating an Intimate, Corner Tub Desig
We have a smaller, corner soaking tub in one of our baths – we wanted to install a shower head, for occasional use (we have another shower), but were concerned about water going all over the bathroom. We also wanted to keep the open feel of the tub and not enclose it.
This works perfectly. Using a 2 curtain system, we can pull half of the curtain one way, and half the other way, creating an intimate ‘draping’ affect, which actually will enhance the look of our corner tub.
For ours, we will be attaching an additional support in the corner, since our ‘drapes’ (shower curtains) will be a bit heavier material than a normal shower curtain.
This is a bit of a custom design, but we anticipate loving the look!
This product is very durable and I cant think of a single negative thing
We are remodeling our new home and we were looking for a specific shower curtain for our second bathroom and decided on this one. We liked the double shower curtain part about this product because you can put your shower liner on the first rod and have your shower curtain on the second rod so that they can be separated and you don’t have to mess with all of these hooks and trying to separate the curtain from the liner. It is also adjustable for a 90 bathroom, which is what our second bathroom is. When we were looking at this one we knew we didn’t have to worry too much about the size or fit because it has such a wide range and flexible sizing. Another great feature about this Shower rod is that it is solid steel build so that it makes it extremely stable. You don’t have to worry about weight because it can support up to 33 pounds without even moving an inch so you could even use this as possibly hanging a small amount of clothes or lighter clothes. You can definitely get creative with this and not just use it as a shower curtain rod because of its great stability. The installation is extremely easy and self-explanatory, even though it comes with directions. It is a tension rod so we had no issues with adjusting it, but it also comes with a metal frame for added security. This is an all-around amazing product and I would highly recommend it, especially considering the value of this product.
I love this L shaped double shower rod that’s fully adjustable and can fit properly in my bathroom and I just used the shorter length to complete my installation. Finally A Shower Rod That Works
Wow, so so happy with our new L shaped shower curtain rod. We have an outdoor shower on our pool deck. It is open space and does not have a typical wall to place a rod on. It has 2 usable sides that the L shape works perfectly with. We used Loctite construction adhesive to hold it in place. The wall area we attached it to is stucco. We wanted to make sure it would hold up. There is not an overhead area to add any ceiling support. Having the ability to adjust the length size of the end rods made this feel like it was custom made for our space. We don’t have a double curtain hanging on it. So there is not any extra weight. We have not had any problems with it falling down and are so happy to be able to have a little extra privacy outdoors. Priced really fare as I have seen other similar quality rods that are not adjustable for a lot more money.
