Satisfied with Tiller and Service
This cultivator has plenty of power and works really well for small cultivating jobs around the flower beds and vegetable gardens. When I had an issue with the tiller switch the service rep was very helpful and I am very satisfied customer.
I’ve only had this for 1 month, but I have used it for about 2 hours running time. I am very impressed with it. Keep in mind this is NOT a tiller to till up new ground that is covered with grass. In my opinion it is super to till around planted vegetables and even in flower beds. I have 12.0 amp batteries and they last a long time. I would say about an hour of continuous use. I have no idea how the transmission will hold up, but this thing is awesome to till around corn, tomatoes, broccoli, and small plants. So far I have not damaged any plants easy to control.
I was sceptical about this. I saw a couple reviews that said this wouldn’t work on compacted dirt. As soon as I received this, I popped a battery in it and went to it. It works so much better than I thought it would AND I tried it on a patch of compacted dirt in front of a gate going to the back yard and it worked phenomenally. Very satisfied.
I purchased this tiller but had problems up front. The seller seemed genuinely concerned and resolved my problem. Another order was generated and the tiller arrived in good shape. My first day using it involved well over an hour of tough work. It is a rugged little garden tool and did a great job. it has only one design flaw and that is the codder pin that holds the blades in is weak and failed. I had to replace this with a quarter inch by 2 inch nut and bolt. I recommend converting to a nut and bolt or buy extra codder pins and pin. Other than that, an amazingly tough little work horse
Decided to buy this tiller vs the Milwaukee brand because its more budget friendly and we use Milwaukee batteries for pretty much everything. The tiller is great but I guess some of us girls have to put a little more arm strength to keep the tiller down. If you till through long grass strands or weeds, it will need some cleaning and if you try to till larger chunks of soil, it will get stuck and you would have to remove the large piece off. I don’t recommend tilling when soil is wet because it will get stuck and dry up so cleaning will be needed but overall its easy to till garden beds because its a small size and its pretty portable for me to use quickly.
