A Most Useful Lightweight Tille
This is a great small tiller. Bought it not sure if it could do the job, and was very surprised how well it does. I’ve now used it in my raised bed gardens and now in a large bed I’m preparing at the cemetery where I work. It handles the hardest packed dirt and loosens it very well. I bought because it is compatible with my Makita batteries. Easy to used, good battery like, and I would highly recommend to anyone working small spaces or who need a lightweight tiller that won’t work you to death. Very high quality construction.
Great for the price
I was surprised at how well this thing works. This is my first tool of this kind so I can’t compare it to others but it was super easy to assemble and worked as expected. Used with a knock-off Makita battery with no issues and it didn’t seem to drain the battery quickly, but I did only use it for a tiny bit of my garden.
It felt powerful enough and had no problems with all the roots it encountered. I only had to stop to remove all the roots it collected but I don’t think that’s faulty design. I’m sure there are more expensive machines that reduce the need to stop and clean the roots but for this price it’s not a big deal.
Can’t speak to its longevity because I don’t use it that often but I do expect it to last quite a bit due to build quality.
Very good machine
This is an excellent tiller. I felt like it done a good job lifting and aerating the soil. I will say it is a bit heavy though to lift. Well built and sturdy. Only downside so far is that it does not come with a battery.
This little powerhouse performed! Worked great mixing compost in the heavy and compacted clay blend that is well known in Georgia. Battery life is excellent- worked for about 2 hours total so far and still plenty of battery. Love being able to use Makita batteries we already have.
