We live in South Florida, where my office gets very hot in the summer despite the AC. Traditional box fans didn’t help make it comfortable enough to work. As August approached, I expected it to get worse and thought I’d have to work from the office instead of home. My husband, who had a similar fan for his office that worked well, got me this one, hoping it would make a difference. It has. With temperatures in the 90s and nonstop rain since early August, my office is usually miserable. I set the AC to 73F and position this fan nearby to circulate the cool air. On August 11th, I’m wearing a sweater in my office because I’m cold. Though compact, this fan performs well. We plan to get more for the house for hurricane season to keep air moving and make conditions tolerable. Setup was simple: take it out of the box, screw it together, plug it in, and it’s ready. It comes with a remote, which is convenient for controlling it from my desk. The fan can oscillate up and down or side to side. It’s so quiet I forget it’s running, unlike my old loud box fan. At $100, the price is reasonable for its quality. I’m impressed by how much it improves comfort and am satisfied with it. I recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet pedestal fan.
Nice fan, not too tall
As long as this unit doesn’t break it should be a nice fan it does lots of things so that makes me nervous .
It has a tiny little remote control and with it you turn on/off or can adjust how long it will run or whether it goes right and left panning or up and down panning whether it enters turbo mode which allows it to go extra fast or sweep all around the room up and down and around and there is also a button to Simply turn the fan on high and low back to your original setting .
It has 16 different settings so you should be able to find the desired flow you want it is very quiet considering how much air it is moving and how small the unit is i bought it so when I sit in my massage chair and I’m all hot and bothered it will cool me down .
I just received this floor fan and it’s just what I need. It’s quiet and when you select both oscillating directions, it helps circulate the air in the room better. It was very simple to put together. It was packed very well. I recommend buying this if you want a fan that’s quiet and cools down the room. It’s good quality. There is a thin soft light located at the top face and when you increase the fan speed, the light grows longer with each change.
This fan really moves a lot of air. The oscillating horizontal and vertical motion gets airflow throughout the room evenly and the DC motor keeps it very quiet even on higher speeds. The 16 speed settings make it easy to fine tune exactly how much air you want moving and it works well for cooling larger rooms.
My main complaints are the bright indicator light on the front and the short maximum height. The light cannot be turned off and it is bright enough to light up a dark bedroom at night. I solved that by using a couple layers of dimming strips so I can still see the level indicator without the glow lighting up the room. As for the height, I wish they included a third pole so it would blow directly onto our bed instead of mainly hitting the foot of it. Because of that I have to run it at a slightly higher speed so the air spills up over the bed.
Overall, the fan is built well, the remote is convenient, and the airflow and quiet operation make it a good buy for the price. If it had adjustable light brightness or an off option and came with an extra pole for height, it would be an easy 5 stars.
