Really adds a lot of power to your setup
This head design compared was a lot more sturdy than the aluminum head pump I was replacing, which cracked pretty fast. The install took me about 30 minutes, and everything fit well. The shaft coupled up perfectly with my motor, but I needed to use my old mounting bolts as the screws that came with it were a little short for my frame.
This pump, on the strongest power setting, was able to lift pretty deep oil stains from the concrete that my previous setup could not even touch. The design was much smoother than I expected, with less vibration through the handle when in use. I noticed that this pump ran cooler than my previous pump. For this price point, I was surprised by the machine quality; the ports were all nicely and cleanly threaded. Furthermore, the relief valve even holds its setting, no creeping. Very functional and good value for money.

Ordered/Received this 4200 PSI Triplex Pressure Washer Pump – 4.0 GPM – Direct Drive Solid Brass Head – 3 Plunger Pump for replacement on my 8hp pressure washer. I purchased a name brand pressure washer few yrs ago and the pump worked pretty good overall until this year. This season it seems I’ve had nothing but trouble from the pump part of it from various pressure problems, oil and water leakage. I let a neighbor friend use it back in winter and possibly water froze in pump. Finally got tired of working on it to get it back to “normal”. Recently while shopping online for a complete gasket, O ring kit for it and pressure valve, I saw this nice looking triplex pump that produces 4.0 GPM and started reading about how it’s made. After reading about it’s strong solid brass head and fittings, triplex pump, and the power and pressure of 4200 PSI, I ordered it after measuring my fittings & shaft. This is one strong pump!. I like the good strong force and the volume it produces. It was an exact fit on my washer hook up as it’s the horizontal design.
I like the solid brass triplex pump head and it works and runs very smooth. Lots better than my old OEM one.
I have multiple trenching machines as I dig water, electric, and drainage problem trenches and my machines always gets very muddy and filthy on most any job. The pressure is great for cleaning them off from each job. This pump has probably cut my cleaning time down to about 1/2 the time in which saves me money and precious time.
The hardened steel plunger last 3X longer lifespan than standard axial cam pumps. I like that it has the pre-installed thermal relief valve to prevent overheating. Also like the built in oil level eye and can visually see if any oil is needed.
I like the good overall build as it’s obvious that it’s a well made pump. It weighs about 23 Lbs. I would also like to note that it comes with no oil for shipping purposes and it requires SAE 15W-40 oil. This pump would work great for most any heavy duty construction equipment repair shops as it’s powerful. It comes with a (1) year warranty and that alone gives one peace of mind.
