Great quality
My husband has been using these for a few months. We have a towing business so we have a massive collection of straps. He needed a fresh set and these have been really great for our rollback. We have used them a few times with our trailer towing but trying to tie down with the flat hook end of ratchet doesn’t work too well. That being said, this set is top notch quality and has and will be used a lot. We have a collection of straps for this very reason. It may not be the best for every job but when we do use them we have zero worry about their hold and durability

Nice tie downs!
I’ll be honest — we don’t use these to tie down cars on flatbed trailers, rather for random jobs on the farm. My mind never really wraps around the use of ratchet straps so there is always a lot of trial and error if I’m the one fastening them. These are no different, but they seem very sturdy and strong. We’ve used them to secure larger loads to bolt-on pallet forms (to the tractor bucket) and also to tow in the riding mower when the battery dies, which is inevitable. I do also appreciate that they aren’t 456789 feet long with big long “tails” to wrap up and secure — they are a nice reasonable length for most tasks. I have nothing negative to report and am overall pleased with the quality.
I have been using ratchet straps and chains as tie downs for vehicles that I transport on my trailer for years. I usually wrap around the axle or through the openings of the rims. When I saw these 4 packs of APISSIZ heavy duty tie down straps, which go over the tires to secure the vehicle I had to give them a try.
Wrapping the tie downs over the wheels seems like less work than laying on your back and wrapping around the axles.
These tie down straps advertise a safe working load of 4444 lbs. and a 13333 lb. breaking strength. The straps are durably constructed of high visibility green polyester industrial strength webbing. They are 2″ wide and 12ft long. The ratcheting portion of the tie down straps operates smoothly and locks securely, the release mechanism also operates easily and smoothly. There are nonabrasive wear pads which help prevent damage to the rims during tensioning. Another nice feature is the included hook and loop strips which you can use to secure the ends of the tow straps so that they don’t flap in the wind. The manufacturer also included a nice durable storage bag.
The only thing that I am not a fan of are the flat hooks, which are great if you have stake pockets, side rails, or an l-track to secure to. I found a few spots on my trailer that will work but a simple s hook would have worked better for me considering that I have numerous eyebolts on my trailer.
Thes straps attach and detach quickly. Once attached correctly to the tire they secure the vehicle very well. These straps can be used to secure cars, trucks, tractors or anything else with large wheels for transport. The price of the kit is very reasonable, and the straps are a good value for the money. Other than the flat hooks, I am pleased if I could buy these with the S shaped hooks I would definitely purchase.

I’ve used these tie down straps a few times on our trailer. They make strapping down as car much easier and quicker than trying to wrap around a rim spoke or a control arm. So far after a few trips, the straps are holding up fine. No fraying or tears. This over the wheel method is much more secure and safe than normal cargo straps. The functionality is quite clever, it eliminates the guess work. For this price, it’s a good value, and an easy choice. Just make sure you choose the correct hooks for your application. These flat hooks only work on edges.
