Realistic looking shrubs
These artificial shrubs look realistic, and are made from quality materials. When they arrive, they are snuggly packaged and you do have to work with them to get them to look correct. We found that a little heat from a hairdryer ,not to close ,softens them up and you’re able to manipulate into the shape that looks correct. They have a steak on the bottom for you to stabilize them in a pot of soil, or directly into the ground. They are a much simpler and more convenient way of displaying a shaped shrub to beautify your property.

This faux boxwoods look very real from a distance.
In took off 1 star because it is very difficult to get them arranged without big gaps in the foliage.
I intend to use these late fall and winter to fill in gaps when some plants die back.
They do come with pointed stakes that attach to the bottom for easy placement in ground or to assist in keeping them upright in pots
Way beyond my expectations
Fluffed these easily into a ball shape and we stuck them in matching plantars beside our front doors. They look SO real, especially due to their “trunks”. Really, these FAR exceeded my expectations. We’ve only put them out yesterday, so I will update if any problems (like fading or loss of leaves) arise.

Very squashed, but lots of fluffing makes them "come to life"
I ordered this Wdpqyy 2-Set Artificial Boxwood Plants Outdoor 27 Inch to place in some bare spots in our forest front yard. When I opened the box and saw how squashed these plants were, I knew it was going to take quite a bit of work to get them looking anything like the site photos show. With time and patience, I did get one looking fairly decent. The plastic support bases that go into the ground were buried inside each of the plants I received. They do spike very well into the ground, especially after I wet the hard ground and then used a rubber mallet to tap it in. Because I’m not ready to place both plants in their permanent location in the yard, I kept the other one in the box until that time. I have included photos of the one plant from start of opening box to placing it in the ground. As you can see from my photo, the height of the plant from the base of the “trunk” to the top is 21 inches at best, rather than the 27 inches stated in the title and listing. They have a good color and from a distance look realistic. The quality is fairly decent. Although the one plant “gets lost” in the location I placed it for this review, I believe their smaller size will look really good in the location I intend to permanently place them. I think these plants are a good value for the money and I would recommend them.
Months after being in the sun, they still look new
These artificial boxwood plants are very substantial and made to last. They look very realistic and people are often surprised with they comment on how nice my planters look and I inform them that they are fake. The “Post” that you put into the ground of the planer is made to look like wood or the trunk of the topiary. It’s thick and keeps the boxwood in place. The size of the boxwood easily fills an 8-10″ planter. I have had them on my front steps in the morning sun for the entire summer and they will look brand new! I highly recommend.
Realistic topiary for indoors or ou
A set of 2 boxwood plants – the plants come on a stem with a ground spike for outdoor use. However, boxwoods are usually not elevated on a truck but are more of a bush. If I used these outdoors, I would probably bury the trunk to look more realistic.
I intended to use these indoors and they make a nice topiary presentation. I put crushed paper in the pot to hold the stem and then Spanish moss around the bottom.
The actual leaves are in varied shades and dense on the branches and look realistic. (See photo.). The plants do require a bit of “”fluffing” after being pressed into the shipping carton.
