It was larger than I realized and came with every possible adapter to connect to batteries and other devices. The legs to support the unit are not particularly sturdy but they work and attach to the body of the unit with velcro. It appears to be very sturdy in all other respects. I tried it at home and directly charged a lantern and phone with it. I will followup when I take this out on the field.
I have an eHom 300Wh solar generator that we use for camping and as a power backup for when we lose power, so I was looking for a portable solar panel that I could use to recharge it off the grid. I ordered the 100W panel and am pretty impressed with it as it puts out ~22-23V in open circuit testing and 5.4 amp current during short circuit testing, which is well within the specified range of this unit. I’ve never run my generator down to nothing, but it looks like I could charge in about 4 hours if I was close to full depletion and in sunny conditions. It’s somewhat heavy, so I’m not likely to use backpacking, but it’s definitely a nice size for car camping or at home power outages. There is also a zippered pouch that holds protects the power hub and also includes connection cables and fittings.
This unit folds in half and each half has its own velco stand to lean against to maximize angle and recharge. There is a large pocket that holds the power hub along with cables and extra fittings for a multitude of port sizes. There is a yellow plug that s pretty standard for most generations, including mine, so I don’t need to search for extra fittings.
Overall, this is a petty decent solar panel for 100W. It obviously won’t put out the full 100W due to natural inefficiencies in the panels and electrical connections. But it still is able to charge my generator within a 4 hour window from 90% full depletion. At just under $100 plus a $10 off coupon as of the current listing in August 2025, it’s priced competitively for the size and power it produces. It’s super easy to use with the provided cables and extra connectors, so well designed for the average person. I would definitely order this again.
