At our home, we have hardwood floors with rugs in the main living spaces and bathrooms. Our previous vacuum would turn on and occasionally pick up a leaf here and there, but would visibly leave behind food crumbs and other things. Ultimately we just stopped using it (a Dirt Devil).
After looking around and researching vacuums on Amazon, we found out about this absolutely awesome cordless vacuum from Powerffy (and got it at a great deal during an Amazon sale). The main selling point for me was its “40Kpa” rating – Think about it as suction power. Many “Cheap” vacuums you can find on Amazon top out around 20Kpa with a few going as high as 30Kpa… but the 40Kpa rating on this vacuum means its good for sucking junk out of our 1″ thick pile rugs in the kid’s bedroom every good as the somewhat thinner rugs in our living room and bedroom.
You can adjust the suction speed yourself, or set the vacuum to “Automatic” and watch it detect and switch suction power on its own as you pass between rugs and flat wooden floors (and kitchen / bathroom tiles) on the fly!
If there’s a single downside to it? This thing DOES run on a battery, and if its been the first time you’ve cleaned up a rug in a while, you MIGHT just use the ENTIRE CHARGE (around 30 minutes) of that battery to clean up a SINGLE rug… and it can take around 4 hours to fully charge again – But here’s the GOOD news about that: In 30 minutes, your dirty rugs LOOK brighter than when they were hiding all that dust and pet hair that we can’t see with the naked eye.
Kinda gross – But ONE of our rugs was hiding a kid’s size shoebox of dust, lint, hair, food crumbs etc… and we had no idea! Worse? We were pulling similar loads of filth out of EVERY RUG IN OUR HOUSE (because our previous vacuum just wasn’t doing the job properly!)
The suction on this thing at 40Kpa is strong enough that it will lift most corners of the rugs we have off the ground – Which is a WAY more desirable trait than you might think. I’m always surprised by how much junk this vacuum can pick up, given its somewhat limited runtime.
After a day or two of cleaning + recharging, there is overall LESS junk for the vacuum to pick up… which makes future cleanings much easier on the hardware. Now I can get away with doing a whole room or two with a single charge, and I’m finding way less junk in the collection container each time too.
If you have a LARGE house? Get this vacuum and an extra battery (or two)… and you’ll have no problems getting it all banged out in an afternoon. I have a 4 bedroom, 2 living room, 2 bathroom space so it can take me a day or so to get the whole thing cleaned up with this vacuum… and I mean EVERYTHING. Blinds, behind the couch, under tables, vents… and if I really want to? It’ll even clean up the car for us.
Yes – Short battery life, but dude – This thing outperforms our Shopvac when it comes to cleaning the house! I’ve *seen* the shopvac leave stuff behind on our rug… but this Powerffy vacuum is picking up stuff I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WAS THERE!

I bought this because I got so tired of the broom and dustpan and bending over to use my dust buster to get what I couldn’t get with my broom and dust pan. This lightweight vacuum is easy to grab and do a quick sweep all over the house! It gets in places I could not with my broom or my larger vacuum. I love that it has a choice of 3 different suction settings, that it can be used to reach up into corners, and that it can also be used a dust buster or car sweeper. I have kids so there is a mess to sweep EVERY DAY. Especially in my kitchen and dining room. This makes it so much easier than lugging my large vacuum out, unwrapping/wrapping all the cord, plugging in and moving to a different plug when I move rooms, etc. I do think I will keep my large vacuum only because we have to higher pile carpeted rooms. It DOES work on both thick and thinner carpets and rugs! However we have 2 cats who shed and my husband feels like he can get deeper into the carpet with our old one. I’ve yet to run out of battery while sweeping, it picks up larger things than I expected, and the price is way lower the Dyson that my mother bought that looks EXACTLY the same! Overall I would definitely recommend it!
It’s a good vaccuum, easy to use, I love the different suction settings -surprisingly useful depending on what you’re trying to clean. and it’s lightweight and easy to move and store. Works on carpet and hardwood.
Only problem is it’s supposed to tell you when it needs to be emptied, but it waits far too long until the entire thing is clogged, the dust and gunk fills up in to the main tube of the vacuum itself. Luckily this isn’t a huge deal because it’s very easy to take apart and clean out. I would see, empty it by eye and don’t wait for it to tell you it needs to be emptied.
I’m impressed with this sturdy high quality cordless vacuum.
I’m using it for a couple of weeks and it has strong suction power. It does a great job cleaning hard floor and carpet. It automatically detects the carpet and increases the power suction to properly vacuum it.
It has a couple of additional attachments that are great to get the job done.
The digital display shows the remaining battery and that’s good to know how the remaining power available.
Overall this is a great product and I see it will last long.
I really like this vacuum! It’s a perfect size for getting the job done and being easy to use! The battery is great! I charge it up and I can use it several times before having to recharge. I just do quick clean ups and the battery lasts for weeks before having to recharge! I have a dog and also foster dogs sometimes. This vacuum makes it easy to keep up with dog hair and crumbs. It also picks up good after Tough jobs. I keep the tank cleaned out and have never any clog problems. Lightweight but tough. As you can see in the video it’s easy to maneuver around and has different power levels. I am really happy with the quality of this brand.
I Love my Powerffly cordless vacuum!! It’s light, easy to use and has amazing suction power (without sucking up your bathroom throw rugs it Still does an amazing job getting up everything on and in the rug!). I really appreciate the information that came in the mail after purchase with easy instructions on what to do to activate my 2 year warranty. Being over 65 I appreciate that it’s easy to use, put together, gets where I need to get and has over all great functionalit and great price! I recommend this product for sure.
The vacuum is so great! The battery lasts so long. I can vacuum 2k sq.ft. and it still doesn’t die! There are three power levels in the vacuum to choose from and I use the second power level and it does great! I love the light on the front of the vacuum to show any little dirt and hair I can’t see. It’s lightweight, easy to use, lasts a long time, and affordable! Worth the money!
