Great rotisserie
Great rotisserie, I got it for my Weber Starwood 600. So far all I have used it for is whole chickens, but man those are so tasty with a rotisserie. The size is perfect and works well on my grill. It is easy to use and not so difficult to clean, especially if you clean it right away after use.
Before ordering this rotisserie I noticed people said that there were fit issues with the 2025 Weber Spirit E-325. (The new one with sear boost.) I scoured the internet for answers and was convinced it would fit. So I ordered one. The first thing I noticed is that the bolt holes for the bracket are on the right side of my grill, not the left. Well, this didn’t make any sense. It puts the cord coming out of the front of the motor, and the switch at the back. Then there’s the issues I’d read about with the motor being too high, the shaft running downhill, and the lid not closing. Yep. That’s a problem.
Anyway, I was driven inside by a thunderstorm and it gave me time to think. After it quit I went back outside and flipped the motor upside down on the bracket. It solved everything! Why don’t they explain this in the instructions or website???
I haven’t had a chance to cook with it yet, but it seems to be very well made.
Works really really good. What else would you expect from weber?
Fit on my searwood pellet smoker from weber great, no issues using it for a couple cooks.
Got rid of the searwood so I cannot comment on long term reliability but I suspect it will last a long long time
