Let me start off by saying I was definitely hesitant in purchasing this brand of lights, especially since the only other item I know of theirs is a monitor for the camera. I noticed that it mentioned that the light is made of PVC and my concern was durability and heat management. Well I can assure you that the back of the lights, where the controls are appears to be aluminum and not a plastic material, which is fantastic.
PROS:
-Rear Housing is Aluminum (great for durability and heat management)
-Robust build, Does not feel cheap in hand, should handle some abuse (not sure about the cover on the front for the light itself)
-Bright, and that is not a joke or an overstatement. My last photo of the Christmas/Winter decorations is in a pitch black room. That photo is unedited and my ISO on a Canon Crop Sensor camera, with a 2.8f lens was at 320, which fantastic. And that’s with the lights only being at 20% brightness!
-The front light plastic covers are essentially a diffuser so you do not need to purchase a separate one to not get a harsh light on a subject, which is a great feature.
-Plenty of controls on the back for setting adjustments, but plus there is an app to use
-2 USB cables included for charging
-carrying case feels like it should protect the lights very well
-tripod mounting 1/4 holes on both ends on each light, which makes it also be able to be mounted horizontally not just vertically
-battery run time for the size of lights is amazing. 90 minutes if used at 100%. And extremely longer runtime than that at 20%
CONS (there’s only two, and honestly irrelevant):
-If you look at two of my photos where the lights are in the case and I am focusing on the ends of the lights, you will see that the lights do not sit in the grooved spot fully on one end. Basically meaning that the case does not properly seat the lights inside their built in grooves.
-the charging cables are the shortest possible length you could get. Which really isn’t relevant since if you’ve been using USB-C cables for a long time like me you have plenty available
I absolutely recommend this for anyone that has been looking for a RGB lighting solution. I am actually shocked how good these are. I was honestly expecting for them to not be great, maybe good at best, they have proven me wrong. I never give 5 stars for anything, because there always can be an improvement but honestly this one I have to give it the 5 stars, since the only main issue would be the case fitment. I am not sure what you would be able to change to make them any better. Maybe a better battery life than the one that is already there? OH, I almost forgot, the lights can be used while being charged!
That’s all I got. If I missed something, well it is what it is. But I can say for sure I will be getting another set when the funds are available.
The Viltrox K60 RGB light sticks are a great solution for both photography and video. They are very compact measuring just under 2 feet in length and super lightweight. The lights come in a 2-pack and are packaged in a semi-hard case for easy storage and transport. Included with the k60 light sticks are grids which help focus the light and is a great addition for creative light control. I use the Light sticks for rim lighting in portraits and they do a fantastic job in this area. The lights charge via usb-c and have an excellent battery life. Overall I believe this is one of the best value options available and the form factor and portability makes these lights an extremely versatile tool for multiple lighting setups. To recap: The K60’s are very bright, lightweight & compact, have an internal battery, and can be mounted or placed almost anywhere. In my opinion all of these facts make the Viltrox k60 an excellent value for the money!
I should’ve bought these long ago. There are a million color options and the color is accurate. I always use a warm tone, but it is fun to have the option. They are good as a key light, rim light, or fill light. They are incredibly versatile. I use a heavy duty clip on the end of a C-stand or light stand to angle them however I need.
The only real con is the battery life is not great at full power. You get maybe an hour, but I zip tie a external battery to them and hook in the USB to resolve that, or you can just keep them plugged into the wall.
They are also somewhat durable. I dropped them a few times now from over 4 ft and they are totally undamaged.
GREAT Value. Viltrox is sometimes gets a bad rep as a brand, but that is just from folks who spent too much on their Aputure lights. These are great!
Muy brillante y compacta
Estamos ante una barra de de luz LED RGB porttil y con bateria recargable, perfecta para fotografa y video, sobre todo como luz de relleno. No pesa nada, y se puede llevar y traer con mucha comodidad como parte de tu equipo de luces, incluso con un par, podrias no necesitar mas, ya que tienes casi 2000 lumens totales. Y todo en un conjunto compacto ya que su longitud es de algo menos de 60 cm, lo que si lo piensas, te da muchas posibilidades sin ser muy aparatosa. Por cierto, hemos hecho nuestros pinitos con light painting con esta luz. Como era de esperar, los resultados han sido mediocres, pero no por la luz, que funciona perfecta, sino porque no tenemos mucha idea todavia y nos limitamos a hacer formas simples.
Como digo, sobresale por su calidad de iluminacin y brillo, emitiendo una luz de gran calidad y con mucho brillo, ideal para diversos entornos de iluminacin. Su alto CRI (ndice de reproduccin de color) por encima de 95+ garantiza colores reales y naturales.
Con la pantalla LCD y los numerosos ajustes disponibles podemos ajustar todos los parametros de la luz, como el brillo, el color y la temperatura de color segn nuestras preferencias o necesidades. Normalmente no los uso, pero tambien se incluyen efectos que podemos controlar desde la app, que por cierto, es compatible con otros productos de Viltrox y junto a los cuales podemos programar escenas que incluyan diferentes luces, pero siempre de la misma marca, o de alguna de sus marcas secundarias como weelite.
Como accesorio, muy util por cierto, se incluye una rejilla que podemos colocar a voluntad y que nos ayuda a dirigir la luz hacia donde la necesitemos. Tambien una funda de trasporte.

Le Viltrox K60 si rivelano un’ottima scelta per chi cerca un’illuminazione professionale senza dover affrontare una spesa eccessiva. La costruzione robusta, i materiali sono di buona qualit e la resa cromatica sorprendentemente accurata. Il controllo della temperatura colore e dell’intensit luminosa offre grande versatilit, rendendole perfette sia per video che per fotografia. La facilit d’uso e la possibilit di alimentarle con batterie le rendono estremamente pratiche anche per riprese in mobilit.
Dal punto di vista della resa luminosa, in alcune situazioni pu essere utile prestare attenzione alla coerenza cromatica tra pi fonti di luce. Sebbene la temperatura colore regolabile permetta di adattarsi a diversi ambienti, in determinate condizioni pu essere necessario un piccolo intervento in fase di settaggio o post-produzione per garantire una perfetta uniformit visiva tra le scene. Con un minimo di calibrazione, tuttavia, il risultato finale assolutamente professionale e all’altezza di prodotti ben pi costosi.
Nota di merito per l’app che veramente intuitiva e ben fatta.
Considerando il rapporto qualit-prezzo, le Viltrox K60 sono davvero difficili da battere. Sono affidabili, versatili e offrono prestazioni di alto livello a un costo estremamente competitivo. Consigliatissime!
Compactos, verstiles y muy divertidos para fotos
Compr los Viltrox P12 RGB LED Pixel Light Stick para usarlos en sesiones de fotos y la verdad es que me han sorprendido bastante. Son muy ligeros y fciles de llevar en la mochila, as que vienen genial para sesiones sobretodo en interior o cuando no quieres cargar con equipo grande.
Lo que ms me gusta es poder jugar con RGB y temperatura de color, porque da mucho margen para hacer fotos ms creativas o aadir un toque de color en retratos. Para light painting o luces de fondo funcionan muy bien.
No son sper potentes, as que no esperes iluminar una escena grande, pero como luz creativa o de apoyo cumplen de sobra.
En general, por el precio me parecen una compra muy recomendable si te gusta experimentar con iluminacin en fotografa.
This is a great addition to those that are wanting to add extra light in their scene.
The best features that stood out to me were color temperatures and the provided diffusion grid that Viltrox offers with the 2 light sticks.
As you can see with my test, you are able to control the direction of the backlight to only hit the spot you want, instead of having it spill all over your subject!
The battery seems like it could last for some time, but I would trust them more so for photo shoots where you can be conservative with usage and playing with different looks- rather than having it constantly on (which still is possible, rated for an hour and some via Viltrox)
Neat kit, charges via USB C, comes with carrying case and able to screw onto any of your light stands you will have as a photographer/videographer. And this is on both ends as well! Recommended to those looking to shape your scene or subject!
I’ve slowly been becoming a Viltrox addict! I’ve been wanting a set of bar lights for a while to use in digital creation and to mood light my office. These lights are amazing! I got the 2 light set. I’ve used them a few times now for vehicle photography and they perform very well. We’ve used them on light stands to give great mood lighting to vehicles or to accent specifics we photograph. I also set them on light stands in my office and let the color cycle. It looks great!
Did a little experimenting over the weekend with using them as accent lights and split lighting in portrait photography and the results were just what I expected!
There are a ton of features built it that will work great if your looking for scene lighting. They are lightweight so they’re not a hassle to carry around and the case is super convenient. I love that they come with the grids! They are super easy to take on and off as you can see in my video. Makes targeting the lights a breeze!
The lights have mounting hardware on both ends a you can even stack them if you want!

Son muy buenas, la duracin de la batera es execelente y se cargan muy rpido. Para fotos o video generalmente las uso a una intensidad baja (menor al 30%) lo cual ilumina suficiente permite que la batera rinda varias horas

My rating is 4 stars only because I haven’t used them to create content yet, but based on my intial interaction, these lights are AWESOME! I watched a few video reviews and a reviewer downgraded these because they use push buttons instead of a dial to adjust RGB, effects, etc… Well, the draw for me is being able to use the app to operate them remotely, so that is not a strike. Actually the push button is very fast and intuitive and allows for pinpoint control. I said all of that to say the push button manual operation is not an issue at all.
The case is sturdy and makes my lights feel protected and professional. The lights themselves are light in weight but feel quality made. The included light covers were a bit tricky for me to slide on due to being unfamiliar with how they attach to the lights, but they work well and cuts light well. The phone app takes the experience up a few notches. Once I learned how to adjust the channels on the lights the party was on!
My creative lighting concepts are about to go next level thanks to these K60’s. Stay tuned…
