- Download the “blurams” App on the App Store or Google Play; Sign up for a Free blurams account
- Click the ‘+’ icon on the Home page and choose the blurams Dome Lite 2
- Click the bottom “Button” and enter the correct wifi information
- Scan the QR Code on the App at the appropriate distance
- After hearing the beep sound, Click the Button and Wait about 20 seconds, the Set up is Finished

I originally bought one of these cameras because it was on sale, and it ended up working so well that I purchased more for both of my homes. Setup was easy, the app was straightforward to use, and controlling the cameras from my phone has been very convenient.
I primarily use them to check on my dog and monitor the house when I’m traveling. I really like that the app distinguishes between motion alerts and sound alerts. Motion can sometimes be triggered by lighting changes or movement near windows, so that’s something to be aware of. However, when I receive a sound alert, I know to check in because it usually means my dog is barking.
The cameras themselves have been reliable, and I also had a very positive experience with customer support when I needed help. I was able to reach someone easily, and they resolved my issue quickly.
Overall, a very solid purchase and one I would definitely recommend. Five stars.
Really happy with this camera! I mainly use it to watch my dogs when I’m not home, and it does exactly what I need. The video quality is clear, and I love that I can talk to them through the app—it actually gets their attention which is funny and helpful. The 360 movement is a big plus too because I can see the whole room instead of just one spot. Setup was quick and easy. Overall, great camera for the price and super convenient to have.
Works Exactly as Expected
I’ve been using this camera as a baby monitor, and I’m really happy with it. The 2K video quality is clear during both the day and night, so I can easily check on my baby. The 360 rotation covers the whole room, and the motion tracking works well by following movement automatically.
The setup was quick, and connecting it to the app was straightforward. I also like that it works with Alexa and Google Assistant, making it convenient to use. The two-way audio is clear, which is helpful when I want to talk through the camera.
Overall, it’s a great value for the price. No issues so far!
I have had this for less than 24 hours. I got it set up and everything was fine for 4 hours.
Then it went offline.
So I put it back online.
Woke up and had multiple notifications of it going off line and it was offline again.
So I put it back online. It has not stayed online all morning.
The process to put it online is annoying because you have to reset the camera physically, then scan a QR code on your phone. Then let it sync for 2-3 minutes..
This process is impossible to do if you aren’t home. So what’s the point ? If it goes offline while you’re not home, that’s it no video for the day.
Everything else connects to my wifi just fine, and the camera connected fine the first 4 hours it was in my home, but now all the sudden it can’t connect?
The “troubleshoot” option just pops up 3 steps to reset and connect to wifi.
I emailed the customer service “bot” and all I got was an automatic reply telling me to reset it and re connect.
So yeah, buy this if you want to never have the camera work unless you are home to reset it every couple minutes.
The picture quality is nothing like the review pictures on here, maybe I’m blind?
And the cloud storage thing is pretty inconvenient. If you want to save or record any video then you have to pay the company monthly?
This whole thing was a disappointment.
Just buy what ever security system your phone is through. So Apple or Android, Google home or what not.
This was more annoying than anything else and again doesn’t even do what it’s supposed to do.
Edit: I had issues the first month but I moved and have since re hooked them up and bought a second one. Idk why they didn’t work at first but now they do! Worth it for the price! Sorry for the confusing review. They really didn’t work until I decided to try again months later lol for the price it’s convenient and I got used to the storage. If you want something more reliable pay alit more for the name brands security systems, if you are using this for like dog watching or simple things then I think ita a good camera! Idk why it had so many issues the first few months.
I do like this camera small has a great range, since it does the 360. Once u find a good spot for it, it’s a pretty great little camera. It also has the ability to be mounted but I didn’t really need to do tha for my use. Its motion detection is pretty good and on the app you can set a notification timer so u don’t receive them all the time. For the price the quality is quite clear. You can also speak through the camera and the audio is loud and clear which is a perk I didn’t know it had but am growing to really like.
One thing that made me lose a star is sometimes it’s not reliable to be connected to the internet but this is not so often. I think that being my only error with it still makes it well over worth it to buy because of th great price.

Works great! Camera quality is better than I expected, and the night mode black/white is also super great quality. I am pleasantly surprised. It is also super customizable in settings, which I very much appreciate. You can also preset certain viewpoints to make life easier! Love it!
