I purchased the 52 inch House of Noa standing mat in Emile print and latte color from Amazon. After I received it, I purchased the smaller, 36 inch mat in the matching print/color directly from House of Noa because Amazon didn't have it in stock. I use the standing mats in my kitchen, in front of the sink and the cooktop. There are a variety of standing mats with different prices to choose from on Amazon. The House of Noa mats were more expensive than many of the others, but I chose these for the pretty designs and based on the good reviews. Plus, they are made in America, a nice bonus. The mats seem to be well made. The cushion material has a good amount of give, but it remains as a barrier between my feet and the floor (it doesn't depress so much that I can feel the floor underneath) and it springs right back after I move my feet. I don't anticipate the cushion material breaking down anytime soon. We haven't had any problems tripping or catching our feet on the edges of the mat (the edges are angled, which helps). The mats are mostly smooth on top (not shiny), which is both a plus and a minus. The smooth surface makes them very easy to clean, but they are also a bit slippery for those who wear socks around the house. Right after we got the mats my husband complained a few times that he had slipped on a mat and almost fell. I don't know if they have become less slippery with use or he has adapted and is more careful, but he hasn't said anything about slipping in a while. Overall, I am very happy that I bought the House of Noa standing mats.
