Great affordable pillow cube pro dupe
I got this to replace my Pillow Cube Pro 6” and it’s great! Nice and firm on one side and softer on the other. It’s just the same height, and I think it’s even more comfortable and cool. I like both sides. Not too firm to make my ear sore, and not too soft to lose the height. At 1/5 the price of the Pillow Cube, I hope they keep making them, because I’ll keep buying it!

    When I opened it, it instantly expanded. Feels very nice for side sleeping. At least for me...laying on my back was also comfortable. It was cold to the touch which was nice since I'm always hot at night. It fit in my regular pillowcase, it did have some space left-over--width wise but that doesn't bother me. Good product so far!

    If I can get positioned just right with this pillow and stay that way all night, then I sleep great and my neck and head are supported wonderfully well. I wake up feeling so much better than normal. However, if I have to move throughout the night- because, like most adults, I have a spouse and children that disturb me- and if my head gets misaligned on the pillow, then I wake up with a terribly stiff and sore neck and shoulders. So, it's hit or miss. I end up using this pillow some nights and not bothering with it other nights because when I get it right, it is soooo nice, and when I don't, it's terrible. If you are someone who can reliably stay put once you're comfy at night, then I completely recommend this pillow. Also, it's probably a little easier to get comfy with it for large men with broad shoulders than it is for me, a fairly average sized woman with slightly broader than average shoulders.

    I absolutely love the case that is on the pillow. It is cooling and very comfortable.

    As for the pillow itself, it is not something that is for me. I have found myself to not be a fan of the cube style.

    I do not find it to be comfortable, but you may find it to be the opposite.

    I stopped using this pillow after a day, but the pillow case is something I use everyday.

    Prior to this, I had a 100% down pillow for the hype. It was too compressible to be comfortable as a side sleeper.

    I recommend the 4 inch height for smaller people and 5 for average sized people. I am a 5'4", 100 lb person and my shoulders are 15.5~16 inches across. The distance between my neck and the end of my shoulder is 5.5-6 inches. The 4 inch thick pillow was perfect because my head is a bit wider than my neck so it's pretty much 4 inches from shoulder to the side of my head.

    The firm side of the pillow compresses about 1/4 to 1/2 inch when you lay on it and the softer side compresses about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Both were extremely comfortable to me. The corner did not dig into my neck or anything, in fact it feels more comfortable than the side sleeper pillows I have where they have hills and valleys for your body sort of like ︵︵

    My neck felt like it was at a neutral position all night and I didn't wake up with any pain. I sleep 75% of the time on my side and 25% on my back and all positions were comfortable. I had a problem with my shoulder from sleeping on a too-soft pillow on a too-soft mattress in an airbnb a while back, it hurt to even turn the steering wheel, and it has gone away so I am definitely sure it was the bad pillow/mattress combinatino not giving me enough support, leading to me squash my shoulder joint. I no longer have that pain.

    Other minor stuff is:
    (1) it smelled like plastic but the smell dissipated after 36 hours, and I flipped it over halfway to let the other side off-gas too.
    (2) It was ready to sleep on after about 36 hours.
    (3) Because it is memory foam it is a little warmer than my other pillows but a silk pillowcase cooled me back down.
    (4) The shape and weight does not slip and slide a lot around your bed, which is good.
    (5) Your head also doesn't slide off this pillow, because there is no slope that forms like regular pillows.

    I am so happy with this. I am always trying to improve my sleep because I have insomnia so it means a lot to me that this is at a relatively affordable price and I don't have to wake up with a crick in my upper back.

    I've been having months of pillow-related lousy sleep and had tried so many different types and combinations of pillows to no avail. I had no idea this was what I needed. I'm a back/side sleeper and I'm a bigger person. I've found that one normal pillow isn't high enough for my comfort, but two pillows don't stay in place, even if crammed together into one pillowcase.

    This pillow block is 6" high and just firm enough to not disappear when I lay my head on it. I've been using the memory foam side against my head. You could also flip it if you prefer the feel of traditional foam. I thought I needed something to fit under my shoulders as well as my neck and head, but this block of a pillow taught me otherwise. I felt supported and comfortable all night with nothing under my shoulders. I can't vouch for everyone, but this pillow has been extremely comfortable and restful for me. If you're an average size person or smaller, you might prefer the 4 or 5 inch height options that are also available. As an added bonus, the square shape keeps this pillow from rolling between my mattress and headboard like the flatter, squishier pillows always did.

    I didn't find this pillow to be cooling, but it also doesn't retain heat.

    The one downside I've found is that this pillow is covered with a very slippery fabric, and an open ended pillowcase simply will not stay in place throughout the night. You will need a queen or king size pillowcase with a zipper or flaps to keep this pillow covered.
