• How do I safely heat the weighted plush in the microwave?

Unzip the belly and remove the ceramic bead pads. Microwave for 40-60s at 850-1000W or 60-120s at 600-800W. Use the safety handles to retrieve the heated bags to prevent burns, and check the temperature before reinserting.

• Is the outer cover machine washable?

Yes, maintenance is easy. Remove all inner ceramic bead pads from the zippered pocket. Place the empty plush body in a laundry bag and machine wash on a gentle cycle to keep it clean for daily use.

• How to adjust the weight for the best deep touch pressure?

We recommend a total weight close to 10% of your body weight. You can easily add or remove the three 10oz belly inserts to customize the weight to 3 lb, 3.7 lb, 4.3 lb, or 5 lb for the perfect grounded feel.

• Will the fabric shed on furniture, and is it soft?

The exterior is crafted from 100% polyester ultra-soft plush. It is highly durable and designed to provide a gentle tactile experience without shedding on your clothes, bed, or couch.

• Is the heating pad scented or does it have a smell?

The natural ceramic bead inserts are 100% unscented. There are no added perfumes, essential oils, or herbs. It remains completely odor-free whether heated or cooled, perfect for scent-sensitive users.
