Yes, the Hotmoon app helps unlock all features. Cocoon Pro 3 includes two free libraries: a Device Library that allows phone-free playback after initial setup, a Cloud Library that streams regularly updated content and requires a phone connection.
Why does the app ask for location permissions on some phones?
Only for Android 11 and below, location permission is necessary and it is a security requirement by Google to enable Bluetooth device discovery. This is a system-level rule from Google. We do not collect, store, or share any of your personal data.
How is Cocoon Pro 3 powered?
It is for plug-in use only, no battery and not rechargeable. Please use it only with the included original 5V/2A adapter and USB-C cable. Lower-output adapters and third-party accessories are not supported and may cause malfunction or damage.
Does Cocoon Pro 3 support Alexa or Google?
No, Cocoon Pro 3 does not support Alexa Echo nor Google.
