It is retractable after tap is turned off.
I bought this hose because I am tired of winding up hoses and dragging heavy hoses around. It feels like a very durable hose unlike the retractable cloth ones I had that sprung a leak due to tears. The nozzle works very well and feels like good quality. The hose and head look very nice and do not detract from the property. The hose retracts and shrinks as soon as you shut the tap off. I would expect it to wear very well due to the strong material that the hose is made of. I would recommend this hose.
Sturdy pocket coil hose, great sprayer attachment!
So far so good! Curls up nicely when empty and stretches to the full length. Seems much more sturdy than previously purchased cheaper hoses which have only lasted one season.

This supposed to be 50ft. It only goes 20 ft.
I should have returned it since I can’t use it. I think I had defective hose The company stands behind the product. I would definitely give it another try
Although not advertised one CAN use a yard sprinkler attachment (not just the hand held sprinkler).
I used my old faithful hand sprayer that I have had for 50 years . It doesn’t have a really powerful spray for washing walks that was equivalent to my regular garden hose. BUT it WAS powerful enough to handily get the job done. I am an old lady and it was DIVINE to not have to wrestle with our old garden hose. I LOVE MY POCKET HOSE.
This is a great garden hose. I bought the wrong sized hose by mistake but I will be returning it promptly and rebuying a larger size. It’s VERY user friendly and very durable.
The pocket hose is a great product, it works exactly as advertised. I love it because it is so easy to use and move. I had rubber hoses and they were such a pain to move around, untangle and work out crimps for full water passage through the hose. I wish I had these many years ago. I loved it so much, I bought a 100ft hose as well.
This hose only last one month! Inner lining ruptured and started leaking out. Never had an issue with a hose like this before. Too much money for this poor quality.
Update 6/3/2026: BulbHead reached out to me and issued a full refund. Because of great customer service I am rating them a 4.
Great product. As an older adult, handling a conventional rubber hose became difficult. Pocket hose is light and easy to maneuver. Love the fact that it takes up little space. No more bulky hose caddies.
