1. Turn off "Silent Shooting" mode (The flash function is forcibly disabled in this mode).
2. Enter the menu, find the "Live View Display" option and turn it off (Enabling this function on some models will disable flash preview).
3. Ensure the shooting mode is not set to video recording or special scene modes (e.g., Sports mode, Night Scene mode may restrict flash functions).

Forcibly Enable the Flash Function

1. Enter the camera's "Shooting Settings" menu.
2. Find the "Flash Control" or "Flash Mode" option.
3. Select "Forced Flash" instead of "Auto Flash" mode.

It has a universal hot shoe opening, making it particularly suitable for some small cameras such as for Ricoh GR3.
