These towels are really nice. The first thing I noticed was the size because they are BIG big. You actually feel wrapped up instead of trying to make a standard towel work after a shower. They’re super soft, thick, and absorbent without feeling heavy or stiff. I also like that they still dried reasonably fast considering how plush they are. Honestly they feel a lot more luxurious than I expected, especially for everyday towels. These have officially become the towels my husband and I reach for first, which in my house is basically the towel equivalent of winning the lottery. My only real hesitation is the price because $79.99 for just two towels feels a little steep, and maybe that’s just because I’m not used to buying luxurious things. They are definitely nice quality, but the price may give some people pause.
A luxury bath sheet that doesn't disappoint!
The description of these as a “bath towel” is really an understatement to their size. These are truly a bath sheet, and are perfect for any one who loves to wrap up in an extra large towel after a shower or bath.
This is definitely a premium towel, as it has a soft and luxurious feel, but it’s not full of lint or pills that happen with cheaper towels that act like luxury brands. This towel has a thinner design, making it quicker to dry, but has all the absorbency you’d expect from a very thick towel. The stitching is very well done, indicating the level of quality.
The color I received (gray) is well represented by the online photos. My photos make it appear a bit lighter, but it’s definitely not a light color. The color does not change or fade after washing, although the fabric is a little bit fluffier after going in the dryer.
These are not a cheap towel by any means (currently ~$35 per towel at time of writing), but they are very large and excellent quality, so I think it’s well deserved. This is a get-what-you-pay-for kind of category, so it’s well worth the price.
Huge, Soft Towels That Feel Like a Hotel Upgrade
The first thing I noticed when opening these towels was their size. These are genuinely oversized towels, not just slightly larger than standard bath towels. At 71 x 35 inches, they wrap comfortably around you and provide plenty of coverage.
The fabric feels thick and plush right out of the package. With an 800 GSM weight, they have that soft, substantial feel that reminds me of the better towels found in hotels or spas. They aren’t the lightweight type that feels thin after a few washes.
After washing and using them, I found them to be very absorbent. They do a good job drying you off quickly without needing to rub excessively. Despite their thickness, they dried reasonably well between uses, which was a pleasant surprise.
The blue color looks attractive and matched the product photos fairly closely. The stitching appears well done, and I didn’t notice any loose threads or obvious quality issues during my initial inspection.
One thing to keep in mind is that these are large, heavy towels. If you’re used to compact towels, they may take up more space in a linen closet and feel a bit bulky at first. For me, that’s part of what makes them feel luxurious.
Overall, these towels deliver exactly what I was hoping for: softness, absorbency, and plenty of size. They make everyday showers feel a little more comfortable and would also make a nice gift for someone setting up a new home or looking to upgrade their bathroom linens.

Additionally, the 800 grams per square meter (GSM) means that the towels feel thicker, are more absorbent, and more luxurious. The size is generous enough for me to wrap up comfortably after a shower.
The towels are giftable owing to their quality; however, it might be wise to unpack them and place them in a separate gift box. They come packaged in a vacuumed sealed bag that hisses when cut open. I initially thought that these were towels with a low pile, like the ecolook 450 GSM weight bath towels that I had ordered earlier. The difference between these two sets of towels is like a tale of two cities. Whereas the “premium” 800 GSM towels represent the best of towels, the 450 GSM towels represent that worst of towels. I also ordered the ecolook 980 GSM bath sheet which is just as good as the 800 GSM towels. I can only assume that the manufacturer site may differ. I also consider the Ecolook 800 GSM towels a clear step above the Elegant Comfort 100 percent Turkish cotton towels that I ordered earlier.
The ecolook 800 GSM towels do an excellent job of drying my body. The pile is soft and absorbent. They are holding up well through multiple wash and dry cycles with minimal lint. There is no fade in the color of these towels. There was no “manufacturing” smell when I initially opened the packaging.
The ecolook 800 GSM towels have an excellent value proposition. Their price point is relatively high, but I believe that they will be as durable as my “old-enough-to-go-to-middle school” towels that they are replacing.

hey definitely feel luxury quality
I love how big these are. They wrap completely around my body, plus plenty of overlap. There’s no concern about any gaping and revealing skin if you were to leave the bathroom with it around you. It’s fairly soft, but not plush. It seems pretty thin, but not in a sparse way. Personally, I do prefer thicker towels, but these are nice. They remind me of the sort of towels you’d fine at a spa or a luxury hotel. They’re VERY absorbent, and that’s what stands out to me the most. I have plenty of cheaper, thicker towels that leave me feeling like my skin is still ever-so-slightly damp no matter how many times I rub them over my body, and I have to airdry that last little bit. Honestly, I thought that was just normal, like your skin holds onto water and so a towel can’t wick it all away. But with these, one pass and my skin is completely dry, with no lingering moisture. I don’t even have to rub my body, just do a quick slide across each area.
That being said, I do feel like they’re overpriced. Eighty dollars for two towels is a LOT. If you have money to burn, I doubt you’ll regret buying these. If you’re splurging on a rare treat, then you might. It seems like diminishing returns at eighty bucks for a mere two towels. If they ever go on sale, I might buy them again, though.
