Before use, preheat the device for 30 seconds. Then reduce to a low flame before adding oxalic acid.

Note that the initial smoke output may be minimal. After two or three cycles, the temperature will stabilize for optimal smoke production.

Blue smoke indicates the flame is too high, while normal operation typically produces white smoke.

The duration of smoke release depends on the amount of oxalic acid used, typically lasting around 10 seconds.

Avoid spraying directly. Use approximately 5 grams for a deep hive and 8 grams for a honey super.
