I love outdoor activities and was looking for a reliable rug and came across this. This outdoor area rug is perfect. It came with four metal hook that you can use to make sure your rug remains intact and does not fly away which is great feature to have. This patio rug is easy to clean can be used on either side, reversible. It has modern design and is waterproof. This rug can also be used indoor but I prefer to use it for my outdoor fun. Perfect for camping or RV lover out there. It seems durable and is made with plastic straw.

This rug is lightweight but feels durable and well made. It lays flat and stays in place and the reversible design is a nice bonus. The material is easy to clean and works well for outdoor use on a patio or deck. It added a finished look to the space without much effort.

This Garvee reversible Outdoor Rug is gorgeous! It is waterproof and can easily be sprayed down which has been helpful after the pollen issues this spring. It is a plastic straw rug that is made of thick plastic that looks like a straw rug. It has a good weight to it so it stays put and I don’t have to worry about it getting blown around.
It is a great size at 8′ x 10′! We have ours out on our deck. It helps prevent bugs from coming up from under the deck, it brings beauty and decorative cohesion to our deck and it feels great under foot!
It is durable, easy to care for, the decorative design and a blue color is gorgeous! A great value!
Perfect addition to my patio
I’ve been using this rug on a backyard patio area under our table and chairs. The 58 size works well for defining a small seating space and fits comfortably.
The material is a woven plastic straw, which makes it lightweight and easy to move around. It lays flat after a short time, though it does arrive folded and may need some time or weighting at the corners to fully settle. The reversible design is a nice feature—you essentially get two looks with slightly inverted colors, which helps extend its usability if one side gets dirty.
The waterproof aspect works as expected. Rain and spills don’t soak in, and water drains or dries quickly. Cleaning is simple—most dirt can be shaken off or rinsed with a hose. This makes it especially practical for outdoor use, camping, or RV setups where easy maintenance is important.
Underfoot, the rug is more about durability than softness. It has a slightly firm, textured feel typical of plastic straw rugs, so it’s comfortable enough for walking barefoot but not cushioned like a fabric rug. On smooth surfaces like a deck or patio, it can shift a bit, so a rug pad or corner weights may help keep it in place in windy conditions. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is slippery when it’s wet.
The vintage blue medallion pattern looks good in person and adds some visual interest without being overly bold. The colors are consistent and haven’t noticeably faded with initial sun exposure, though long-term UV durability will depend on placement and conditions.
The price point was also a big factor in this purchase. With the size of this carpet at the price it I paid it was a very good deal.
Overall, this is a practical and low-maintenance outdoor rug that works well for patios, decks, camping, or RV use. It’s easy to clean, lightweight, and versatile, with the trade-off being a firmer feel and the need to secure it in some situations.
Nice looking and well designed for seasonal outdoor use!
Ordered this for our deck and really didn’t have high expectations, but I’m impressed. We haven’t used it outside yet as the deck still has 4′ of snow on it, but we spread it in the basement to make sure the size and look would work for us. It looks great! I honestly didn’t realize the colors were different when you flipped it until I laid it out, but the option is great – we haven’t decided which way we will use it.
I love that it’s foldable. One of the reasons we hadn’t put a rug on our deck is the need for storage of a rolled up rug. This folds neatly and slips into a bag for easy storage on a shelf.
We have a composite deck that gets very hot in the sun. This will absolutely allow us to go barefoot again, but I’ll add that after spreading it in our basement, it would also make a great addition as an indoor rug. We have dogs and sand, so end up fighting to keep rugs clean. This one would be easy to fold up, carry outside, shake off, and rinse with a hose.

Durable Outdoor Rug That Instantly Elevates a Space
I ordered the Garvee Outdoor Rugs 8′ x 10′ Waterproof Reversible Mat in Grey & White.
This rug completely transformed my outdoor space. The grey and white pattern is clean, modern, and stylish without overpowering the rest of my decor. It adds just the right amount of character and makes the patio feel finished and intentional.
The 8′ x 10′ size is generous and works perfectly under outdoor furniture. It’s lightweight at just under 7 pounds, so it was easy to position by myself, but it still lays nicely once in place. The low pile braided plastic weave feels surprisingly soft underfoot, even though it’s made from recycled plastic straw.
I love that it’s waterproof and easy to clean. Dirt and debris shake right off, and a quick rinse with the hose takes care of everything else. It dries quickly, which is perfect for Oklahoma weather when you can get sun, wind, and random rain all in one week.
The UV protection and thermoplastic edging are great features as well. The edges feel secure and well finished, and I don’t see any signs of fraying. I also appreciate that it’s reversible, which basically gives you two looks in one.
For the price, especially at this large size, it’s an excellent value. It looks much more expensive than it is and holds up beautifully outdoors. I would absolutely recommend this rug for patios, balconies, RV setups, or backyard seating areas.
