For the price it’s dece
Decent sound for a little speaker, but only with bass mode on. Insane battery life, after about 2-3 hours of total use I’m at 89%. The lights on top are cool. I like the strap, it’s handy.

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von diesem Lautsprecher. Besonders hervorheben mchte ich den superklaren, kraftvollen Sound — sowohl die Hhen als auch der bassstarke Klang berzeugen auf ganzer Linie und klingen fr die Gre wirklich beeindruckend.
Ebenfalls positiv sind die kompakten Packmae, die den Lautsprecher trotz seiner Leistung sehr mobil machen. Praktisch finde ich auerdem die Akkustandsanzeige, mit der man jederzeit im Blick hat, wie viel Energie noch verfgbar ist.
Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist das relativ hohe Gewicht. Allerdings ist das dem groen Akku geschuldet, der mit seinen bis zu 24 Stunden Laufzeit einfach top ist — das konnte ich selbst noch nicht komplett testen, aber bisher hlt er wirklich lange durch.
Ein zustzliches Highlight: Der Lautsprecher kann sogar als Powerbank genutzt werden. Das ist unterwegs unglaublich praktisch, um schnell mal das Smartphone zu laden.
Fazit: Ein klangstarker, vielseitiger Lautsprecher mit groartiger Akkulaufzeit — klare Empfehlung!

I’ve been an Soundcore/Anker fanboy for many years now. From the OG Anker Bluetooth speaker, the first Soundcore earbuds, 2 pairs of Q30 headphones, 2 Soundcore 3s, a Select 4 Go, and now this. And I’ve got to say I’m absolutely blown away with the quality of it! From it’s shockingly small and sturdy build to nailing the perfect audio experience filling my living room wall to wall. This thing blew me away on my first use. Haven’t really gotten into the lights settings of it as that’s not really a selling point for me, but they do look sweet. This is going to be my daily driver and will absolutely buy a second to replace my Soundcore 3s. Another absolute banger from the Soundcore/Anker team!
Rubbish out the box but honestly great when you sort the eq
Wow, wasn’t expecting the sound to be so good. Out the box is rubbish, tinny and high bass – may as well stick your phone in a glass.
Downloaded the app and tweaked the eq and now it sounds awesome. I know some people expect a ‘perfect out of the box’ experience, but seriously, fiddle with the app and you’ll love i

Wow! Very pleasantly surprised by this product. It is 10cm square, and just under 5cm tall weighing in at 383 grams… It is definitely NOT lightweight.
This little sound machine arrived already 50% charged, and after pushing the power button my phone found it automatically, and guided me through the process of installing the app, upgrading the firmware, and getting me started.
The app is at times a bit overkill (asking for permissions to my clipboard for example) with some features that try too hard (customizing the led light strips).
I am not an audiophile at all… What I was looking for was a simple small device to play music significantly louder and better quality than from a smart phone… And this speaker does a fantastic job!!
The sound is crisp, clear, and full of bass right out of the box. There is a 10 band EQ as well, and a community of users who tweak the settings and you can load custom presets from your clipboard if you want.
There is quite a bit of digital signal processing going on in real time, which allows the speaker to push the bass even at high volumes, and basically changes the audio waveforms so that there is little or no distortion.
A cool feature is that you can use it to charge your phone, as long as you bring a USB-C cable along.
The strap is a bit odd, and I can only imagine the connector detaching from the rubber band after a few months of use. It does not make me feel confident that it is going to hold my speaker on a backpack while riding a bicycle, for example… However it does work, and maybe it is more robust than it seems.
The speaker also has a “find me” feature which allows you to tap a button on the app, and your speaker will make a noise so you can find it… Even if powered off.
In my opinion, the light strips are a major fail. With such cool LED technology and products out there like the Govee table lamps… I would have expected something a bit more modern and sexy. The 4 straight line LED stripes are quite boring.
It has a feature that allows you to speak in a normal volume into your phone, and it will blast your voice through the speaker! Like a megaphone. And you can also connect it to other similar speakers, and cover larger areas with your voice or your music!
I can honestly recommend this for low distortion, rich, & loud music, from a small device. It is actually louder than the active speakers I have connected to my PC!

Den “gefhlten” Punktabzug gibt’s fr die Anleitung, zur “Dreieckstaste” gibt es zwar ein Schaubild “on/off” was sie jedoch bewirkt ist nicht beschrieben. 🙂
I am impressed with the sound quality from this small portable speaker. In fact, I was testing it out yesterday and my daughter was in the next room and called out, “Is that sound coming from that small speaker?” Yes it’s hard to believe but it’s true. The sound is incredible!
This is my second Anker speaker. I own a larger, portable model as well, which I’ve already reviewed, and I’ve been very impressed with that one too.
I am at 70’s girl so I love my bass. I like that this speaker has a separate button that you can press to pump up the bass. If you do turn on the bass you can actually feel the speaker shake.
I learned how to use this speaker by watching their videos but they are tricky to find. Following is how to find them:
First download the Soundcore app and make sure it’s updated.
Add this Boom Go 3i Device into the app. Next you must connect your device via Bluetooth.
Once you’re all set up, go into the Soundcore app >tap the Boom Go 3i picture> tap the Settings icon gear in the upper right> Tap Help & Feedback > scroll down & watch the videos.
Once you learn how: you can play White Noise that they created or set up your own personalized White Noise, (which is completely awesome with so many choices).
You can also play their pre-made lights. The campfire glow looks pretty cool to me. Or apparently you can make your own which I have not tried yet, but I will when I have more time. There are also 6 music-reactive modes that sync with your beats and 8 ambient lighting modes for mood setting.
You can pump up the bass with a light show using the App or the Mode (M) button. To turn off the light show and keep the bass on, give a long press on the Mode button. Also, you can turn off both the bass and the light show which is the Eco mode and this too will save on the battery life.
This speaker also doubles as a portable charger in emergency situations. It is certified for complete dust and waterproof protection. Also, it has been tested to withstand drops of up to 1 meter, (3.28 ft.)
This speaker is so handy for me to take outside when I sit on my front porch or on my backyard patio. I don’t usually play music loud, but I will increase the volume a little bit to put me in my own meditative space.
One thing I will definitely enjoy is creating my own White Noise by pressing on the little birdies, which will sound like we have an aviary in our backyard. I know this speaker will add a meditative peace to my life, by not only playing my quality sounding music but by letting me create my own light show, or letting me combine sounds to create my own personal white noise.
Love this speaker! It is well worth the money! The sound is excellent and there are so many fun options. I would rate it higher than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend!
The product arrived nicely packaged with a get started guide and with a USB — C to USB — C charging cable included. The packaging is printed front and back with product information.
Overall, this speaker has a quality feel to it. It has the right amount of weight for its size in the palm of my hand. The two-position strap is easy to work. You can strap it across the back / bottom of the speaker or form a loop at the top, so there are a lot of options for securing it to your things while on the go. The base features four small silicone feet that keep it stable on solid surfaces and reduce vibration.
The Soundcore display showed it was charged to 66% capacity when turned on right out of the box. It was able to effortlessly pair it with my cell phone. I opened the SXM App and streamed Real Jazz. I was quite pleased with the big sound, especially with the base boost mode on. It charged the rest if the way to 100% in less than half an hour.
You can cycle through base booster on, off and ECO mode with a single press of the mode button to the left of the display. Double tapping the mode button, cycles through many light display options. I lost count, but I found several display options that I liked. The light display feature can be turned on or off by long pressing the mode button.
The lights and base boost feature are off when in ECO mode.
The soundcore Boom Go 3i speaker has an IP68 (Ingress Protection) rating. It is designed to keep dust and dirt out and can withstand immersion in the water. It is not intended for underwater use, but if it falls overboard, or in the pool and you retrieve it, it should still work. I have not tried this, but that is what the rating means.
The speaker has a large enough battery to last all day in ECO mode. I have yet to see how long it will last with base blasting and lights blaring. I doubt it would be an issue.
There is a downloadable app that provides extra functionality. I don’t really want another app, but I downloaded it to see what it does. First, it enables firmware updates. A good thing. There are several white noise options, Sleep stories, meditation, etc. I haven’t tried them. If you use a white noise generator, maybe this is for you.
The application enables some configuration options when the speaker is connected. You can change what each press action on the mode button does. It offers a voice amplifier (megaphone) feature using your phone’s microphone.
The feature I like is the equalizer. The equalizer allows you to tailor the sound to your liking or surroundings. There are four presets, and a custom. I was able to get sound more to my liking individually adjusting the 9 frequency bands with the custom equalizer. Much better than just the base boost feature (as nice as it is), or one of the four presets.
There are light display modes or shows that you can select with the app. Very cool, but I only briefly played around with that feature.
Bottomline, this speaker has a lot of features to explore. It can connect multiple speakers and sync them, but I cannot speak about any of those possibilities. I only have one speaker, and think it is pretty good old fashion style right out of the box. I recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a rugged, great sounding portable Bluetooth speaker. I’ll fiddle with all those other cool attributes over time, but right now, I think I will chill to Some of My Favorite Things
