Best Size for 1 or 2 People
I used the smaller version of this (2qt mini) and loved it … did some work arounds to get it to cook amazingly for a couple years, but after talking to AI it was suggested to get the 4qt so that there greater distance (food from cooking element). With the 2qt I had to cook on lower temperatures to stop from burning (to close to top element). With the 4qt there is more room (food is farther away so less burning and more air circulation).
Frozen fries are new 12 minutes at 400F and they are perfect (no burnt edges) Tater tots are perfect … very crisp and soft in the middle.
