The stainless steel lid has a pull-ring pressure relief valve that allows you to relieve pressure in the Cornelius keg to avoid overpressurisation. Simply pull out the pressure relief ring to release pressure or adjust the pressure level. The beer keg can withstand pressures up to 130psi
