The outdoor sensor has a solar panel, do I still need to install batteries?

Yes, the sensor needs to be fitted with a spare battery in case it fails to operate at night. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries that can work longer at low outdoor temperatures and not rechargeable batteries that have a fast decaying power.

Why did the weather station stop recording rainfall after a period of use?

Please clean the rain cup regularly to prevent debris from obstructing the sensing, or the rain cup is full and cannot be measured.

The screen goes blank while the weather station is searching for a WWVB signal, is this normal?

The weather station will dim when searching for WWVB signals and disable other features to prevent signal interference. Please do not worry, this is normal and the process lasts about 7 minutes.

Where should the sensor be mounted?

Please install the sensor according to the manual, in a place where no obstacles nearby to get more accurate data. Please note that the signal transmission between the sensor and the main unit may be affected by thick walls, glass, etc. to be short.
