Step 1:

To remove the coarse scratches, the Heavy Cut Compound 1000 polish should be used in conjunction with the white polishing pad. If the desired result is not yet achieved, a polishing fur could provide even higher abrasion. Otherwise, the 300 or the 400 Menzerna would have even more cut.
If the surface does not have major scratches or defects, this step should be skipped – polishing is always an abrasive event.

Step 2:

With the Menzerna Medium Cut polishes, the typical polishing marks after step 1 are eliminated and at the same time the basis for the final 3rd crotch. With the Menzerna 2500, we have also selected the golden middle of the Menzerna medium cut polishes. This still achieves sufficient abrasion to make this step as a 1st polishing step if the paint surface has only slight and medium defects. Again the set comes with a polishing sponge in green colour.

Step 3:

In the third polishing step, the high-gloss finish is achieved with the Menzerna Super Finish Plus 3800 polish and the red polishing pad. Now the remaining holograms and streaks are eliminated. Polish residues can be easily absorbed with the nano fibre polishing cloth.
Shine and service life are optimised in the last processing step.

II. Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500; 250 ml – Step 2

Perfect for machining OEM paint and repair paint. Sanding points up to 2500 grindings are removed and at the same time a very good shine is created. The paste also works on scratch-resistant ceramic paints and removes various signs of wear, paint defects and holograms.

III. Menzerna Super Finish Plus 3800; 250 ml – Step 3

Super Finish Plus 3800 polish removes light scratches, micro scratches, holograms and polishing marks. Produces maximum deep shine, last step before a final seal. Menzerna refers to this “rich” shine as a show car surface.

IV. PP polishing pads / polishing sponges.

Try our premium polishing sponge with hexagon surface for processing micro polishes, such as Scratch & Swirl B-Gone, Pro Polish or Meguiars Swirl X and Paint Cleaner.
The work surface of the polishing sponge consists of hexagonal elements that prevent the splashing of polish and at the same time significantly reduce heat generation during the polishing process. In addition, the polish is held longer in the polishing sponge, which ultimately saves material and working time.

Instructions for use:
Put some “dabs” of the polish on the polishing sponge. Then press the polishing sponge several times with the machine switched off on the paint area to be processed to distribute the polish in advance. Now place the polishing sponge on the paint and start the polishing machine at the lowest speed. Always work on small areas and thus take part area by part. Let the polishing sponge glide over the surface and work without pressure. By crushing the particles of the paste/polish, you slowly increase the speed – the paste then changes in gloss and transparency. Then throttle the speed back to the original speed piece by piece.

This polishing sponge is washable with warm water and can therefore be reused. A slight moistening before polishing facilitates the polishing process and increases the service life of each polishing sponge.

V. Premium polishing cloth anti-hologram.

Very high quality polishing cloth for removing holograms and swirl scratches. The cloth works perfectly with fine grinding pastes, anti-hologram polishes and interior care products. Non-textured to keep the grinding effect as low as possible.

The Nordex microfibre cloths for polishing are ultra-soft to firm, machine washable and also suitable for tumble drying. If the microfibre cloth is washed separately and especially without fabric softener, it can be used for a long time. This protects the environment and also the wallet. Despite regular washing, the cloth retains its quality properties in the long term. It removes adhering dirt particles as well as grease and dust. The result is streak-free, no haze and polishing residue are present.

The microfibre cloth for polishing should only be slightly moistened, otherwise no best possible results can be achieved. It is also recommended to always use the Nordex microfibre cloth for polishing with the same polish.

This Nordex deluxe glass microfibre cloth should not be missing in our polishing cloth series. It is designed for cleaning and polishing on glass surfaces. The flat woven microfibre cloth supports the work of vehicle care. Some microfibre towels specialise in repolishing or drying, but which takes care of streak-free visibility when driving?
