• High build solvent free 2k epoxy coating designed to provide outstanding chemical and corrosion protection. Specially formulated for tank lining repair and restoration.
• Tried and tested not only on Petrol, Ethanol and Diesel But also protects against- Phosphoric Acid Sulphuric Acid 98% Nitric Acid Steam Toluene Xylene Ammonia Hydroxide and many more
• Tested up to Heat 200c Flexible 12300psi Compressive 13950psi Adhesion 2950 psi Corrosion 5000hrs min ASTM B117 Cure times- 20C (do not attempt if temp is below 10C ) Usable pot life for fill and rotate method 25minutes Cure to hard 24 hours Post cure for use 7 days
• Application: Tankroxx will cover and fill pinholes, seam splits and minor surface rust without the need for other lengthy operations. But to be completely safe its best to try to clean and de rust as much of the surface as you can.
• Full instructions included in every pack. Storage 5 years unopened. Colour when dry is Red
• Step 1 Remove all oil fuel varnish from the tank using Tankroxx solvent flush or similar Step 2 Remove all loose rust and debris from tank, again wash all out with Tankroxx solvent Step 3 Treat rust with Tankroxx rust remover convertor, agitate tank with suitable bead shot or metal nuts screw etc. Step 4 Wash out with Tankroxx solvent or similar again. Leave to fully dry out. Step 5 Mix Coating thoroughly, pour into plugged, masked paint protected tank and swirl around to coat the entire surface for 15-20 minutes. Leave to dry upside down for 24 hours.
