VERIMP Water Electrolyzer Electrolyte Demonstrator

VERIMP Water Electrolyzer Electrolyte Demonstrator School Chemistry Water Electrolyzer Electrolyte Tester Chemical Experiment Equipment Teaching Instrume

  • Accessories: Electrolytic cellⅹ1: Carbon rod with rubber plug x2: Observation tube x2; Alligator clip wire x2.
  • This instrument is used to demonstrate water electrolysis and the production of hydrogen and oxygen in middle school chemistry classes.
  • Under the action of 12V.1A direct current, the electrolyzed water generates 20ml:10ml of hydrogen and oxygen within 3-5 minutes.
  • It is verified that a water molecule is composed of 2 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom.
  • Note: If no response can be seen after the power is turned on during use, check whether the circuit and electrode contact are in good condition.

Product specification: 8.5 x 8.5 x 12 cm
Observing tube x 2; electrolytic cell X1, rubber stopper × 2 and carbon bar crevice x 2 This device is used for the electrolysis of water and the junior high school chemical class to demonstrate hydrogen and oxygen.
One water molecule is verified that two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom are verified, and hydrogen and oxygen are 10 ml: 12 V.1a under the action of 1a DC current, in 3-5 minutes 20 ml of electrolyzed water was generated.

Instructions:
1. Please prepare 200m clean water (preferably distilled water) in order to enhance conductivity. Add 10% sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide to the water.
Put the prepared solution into the airtight chamber through the funnel. When adding the solution, raise the funnel and gently squeeze the glass ball to discharge the air in the tube. The solution can be added quickly.
Make the water levels in the two observation tubes rise to the top of the tubes respectively.

2. Connect the positive and negative wires of the power supply to the bottom electrode, turn on the power supply, and immediately see that there are bubbles in the two observation tubes. After about 3-5 minutes, it can be observed that the gas collected in the glass tube connected to the positive electrode is about It is one-half of the volume of gas collected in the glass tube connected to the negative electrode.
