Can I directly connect this dash cam to the car battery to record 24/7?
Sure, we recommend this hard wire kit: B0BG5LZP2M. If you wish to record 24/7, please connect the constant power wire and ground wire. If you only need the dash cam recording when it detect a collision, please connect constant wire, ACC, ground wire.
Does the dash cam has in-built battery?
Nope, this dash cam use a super-capacitor instead of Lithium_battery, which has a longer lifespan and more powerful.
Do I need to keep the dashcam wifi connected at all times to use it?
No, you only need to connect the dash cam wifi when you want to check the videos or set up the dash cam. It automatically start recording when you turn on the engine, and you can hear the voice prompt 'Recording Start'.
