Infrared Pyrosensor
This electronic module reacts when the infrared heat radiation changes within its detection range, i.e. when a person enters the detection range. The voltage jump caused by this is converted by the system into an electronic pulse that switches the light.
Detection range
The range of infrared sensors depends on the direction of movement. With the XLED ONE XL S, the range is max. 12 m with tangential movement (parallel to the sensor), which is shortened with radial movement (towards the sensor).
In addition, the detection range can be restricted by the cover plates which are included.
Steinel LED System
Compared to other light sources, LEDs are significantly brighter and at the same time consume less energy. The Steinel cooling system protects the LEDs from overheating. This allows a real service life of 30 years and more to be achieved.
