Makita 40V Max Li-ion XGT

Introducing XGT, a new 40V standalone system; with a new charging adapter to allow the new 40V Max XGT platform to use the DC40RA charger to charge both LXT slide type battery and the new XGT battery in as little as 28 minutes.

The XGT range of tools and batteries have a built-in program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing for the battery to not only talk with the tool but also for the tool to talk to the battery.

The GA005GZ features Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) to shut down the Angle Grinder to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down.

The GA005GZ is a 125mm cordless Angle Grinder, designed to continuously perform heavy duty cutting and grinding, is powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT battery (not includedd) to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, to deliver up to 8,500 rpm for faster cutting.

The GA005GZ is equipped with electric brake for increased operator safety, slide switch with lock-on function for operator convenience, anti-restart function to help prevent the motor from starting up when the battery is inserted into the Angle Grinder with the switch loocked on and spindle lock for quick and easy wheel changes.
