The Homematic IP radiator thermostat compact helps actively save energy within the Homematic IP Smart Home system. The tamper-proof regulator replaces existing heating body thermostats and allows energy savings of up to 30% with demand-appropriate heating. The radiator body thermostat is easily mounted via the metal nut on valves with M30 thread. No interference with the heating system or draining water is required. The compact thermostat is operated exclusively via the free app or an additional wall thermostat, so it is particularly suitable for offices, small businesses, children’s rooms or even for tighter niches. The included disassembly protection and the closed housing prevent unauthorised tampering and theft. Two AA batteries provide the thermostat with energy for up to 3 years. After installation, individual temperature runs with up to 13 changes per day can be defined via the app, so the office is pre-heated on arrival in the morning, while valuable energy is saved after work. Of course, the room temperature can also be adjusted manually via the app, a Homematic IP wall thermostat or comfortably via voice command (Alexa or Google Assistant). The system is really smart in combination with a Homematic IP window and door contact. If this registers an opened window, the radiator thermostat closes the hot water supply of the radiator. When the window is closed again, the radiator also returns to its work. This helps energy saving, increases living comfort and protects the environment. The built-in automatic limescale and frost protection prevents the valve from calcification and freezing.
