The MFT1741 is a faster and more reliable version of the MFT17x1 series. Test times have lowered to 8 seconds (From 15) with a 4 second display. It is much faster testing on quiet circuits, it automatically detects circuit noise when present and has an auto-start when in contact with the circuit. It has new ‘Confidence Meter’ technology so now, you have improved measurement repeatability with an Arc that shows a degree of confidence in the accuracy of results. Dynamic updating display shows noise presence and measurement progress. The MFT1741 uses a brand new loop impedance test technique, which offers an immunity to the increased impedance effects that RCDs and RCBOs can have on a measurement.
