The Nokia 9 PureView is one phone, with five cameras. Working in perfect unison, the five 12 MP cameras collect up to 10 times more light than a single smartphone camera colour sensor.
This results in images with superb dynamic range that capture detail and texture from both the highlights and shadows. It also allows for an incredible depth-of-field and vibrant, true-to-life colour.
With an adaptive battery, the 9 PureView also last longer from charge to charge, making it easy to use and more reliable when out-and-about.
App actions also help you to use your phone more efficiently, as it remembers your routines. Slices on the other hand, suggests your recommended apps when you need them most.
To extend battery life: Always charge the battery fully. Mute unnecessary sounds, such as touch sounds. Tap Settings>Sound>Advanced, and under Other sounds and vibrations, select which sounds to keep. Use wired headphones, rather than the loudspeaker. Set the phone screen to switch off after a short time. Tap Settings then go to Display then go to Advanced then go to Sleep and select the time. Tap Settings then go to Display then go to Brightness level. To adjust the brightness, drag the brightness level slider. Make sure that Adaptive brightness is disabled. Stop apps from running in the background: tap check_box_outline_blank and close the apps you don’t need. Enable the Background activity manager. The notifications of some apps or emails may not be able to be retrieved instantly. You can manage the battery life by adding apps to or removing them from the whitelist. Tap Settings then go to Battery then go to Background activity manager. Switch on the power saver: Tap Settings then go to Battery then go to Battery saver and switch to On. Use location services selectively: Switch location services off when you don’t need them. Tap Settings then go to Security & Location then go to Location, and switch to Off. Use network connections selectively: switch Bluetooth on only when needed. Use a Wi-Fi connection to connect to the internet, rather than a mobile data connection. Stop your phone scanning for available wireless networks. Tap Settings then go to Network & Internet then go to Wi-Fi, and switch to Off. If you’re listening to music or otherwise using your phone, but don’t want to make or receive calls, switch flight mode on. Tap Settings then go to Network and Internet then go to Flight mode.
