The Fellowes powershred 8Mc is a personal, micro-cut home paper shredder that has been designed with user safety in mind. Ideal for individual users and moderate use in the home environment; it comes with the Fellowes safety lock feature to manually disable the shredder to prevent any accidental activation, giving you that extra peace of mind if you have young children around. As a micro-cut the 8Mc will shreds eight sheets of paper (70 gsm) per pass into 3 x 10 mm micro-cut particles (DIN Level P-4), giving you a higher level of security and protection than traditional cross cut shredders. It will shred each sheet of A4 paper into over 2000 pieces and will shred continuously for up to 5 minutes non-stop before it needs to cool down. This handy home shredder has a compact, neat design that won’t take up much space and comes with a 14 litre bin with a lift-off head for easier bin emptying.
