1.The front camera support 1296P/1080P/720P, and rear camera support 1080P/720P, when the front and rear camera is recording simultaneously, it will be fixed on 1080P;
2.Please check the functionality of dash cam with its all accessories before installation, if issues exist, please get a fast cont-act;
3.Please don’t splice rear camera wire for extension, the monitor may lose the rear image. The length of original cable for rear camera is 20 feet, suitable for most types of cars. We also have 50 feet (ASIN: B0814ZHHST) sold separately;
4.To use the parking monitoring function, be sure to connect the hardwire kit(ASIN: B095SKYDHK), please rest assured, the hardwire kit has a low-power protection function, when it detects that the voltage is lower than 11.6V, it will automatically power off, it will not drain the car battery, and you can turn on the time-lapse function, which can effectively save memory space;
5.Please format micro SD card termly in case of locked videos occupied much capacity, release them necessarily;
6.Please use original accessories provided in the package, just in case of compatible issues after using others', especially use 2 or 3 in 1 cigar socket will lead to 100% insufficient current supply;
7.If you use use micro SD card capacity > 32GB, Please change micro SD card〔Class10(10MB/sec) required〕 format to FAT 32 on PC( a 32GB card is included in the package ).
8.Please confirm whether your cigar power port is ACC. (if the cigarette lighter is still charged after the car is turned off, please use the hardwire kit or unplug the car charger after the car is turned off, otherwise it may exhaust your car's power supply. ) (Note: This happens in some Ford/Audi cars, and electric cars);
9. If your car has its own reversing assist system, please ignore the reversing line of G840S. The reversing system of mirror dash cam can only be used as an aid. Unlike the usual reverse assist system that displays a 72-degree view, the mirror recorder can display a 180-degree view, so the rear image will be larger. If you mind, please buy with caution;
FAQ:
1. How to find the video recorded by the rear camera?
In the lower left corner of the video viewing interface, there is a [car-shaped icon].Click this icon to switch the video interface of the front and rear cameras.
2. When the car is turned on, why can't it turn on automatically? / Why keep shutting down and restarting?
Please use our original car charger cable, otherwise some problems will occur. If it still occurs, please tell us, we will solve it for you.
3. Why is GPS not working?
The vehicle must be within a wide range to receive the signal.If it is still not received in a wide area, we will send a new one.
4. Where can I get a GPS player?
Please insert the GPS and SD Card into the dash cam, after restarting the machine, you can see a GPS_Player.txt with the latest GPS Player in the SD card. Note: Please follow the link in the SD Card or consult us directly.
5. Why can't my time be saved?
Please set [Timezone] when using GPS, instead of [Clock Settings].
6. Why can't rear camera detect?
Before installation, please turn on the power to see if the front and rear cameras are working. If the rear camera cannot be detected, please check whether the 4pin is loose, and then check whether the rear camera cable is bent. If there is no problem with the above, please con-tact us.Thank you.
