the garage exterior or on the terrace – the LED outdoor wall light L 22 scores highly. With a clear
design and reliable Steinel sensor technology, the surprisingly low-cost luminaire is equipped with
a rust-free stainless steel screen and spreads an inviting light thanks to its translucent chassis.

Practical:the sensor and sconce cover are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate. This reduces
the risk of damage either by natural extremities or kids play. Follow-up time and twilight function
can be adjusted by discreet knobs on the underside of the sensor. The E27 socket is for
conventional incandescent lamps with a maximum of 60 watts as well as for energy saving or LED
lamps with a maximum of 20 Watts.

    The pyro sensor

    This electric module reacts as soon as the infrared thermal radiation within the detection zone changes. This causes a voltage jump which is then converted into an electronic impulse, which switches the light on or off.

    Human thermal radiation

    Due to their body heat humans emit infrared radiation. Infrared sensor technology uses this radiation to detect movement and to react accordingly.

    Hightech material

    Apart from the UV-resistant plastic, which assures an attractive appearance even after years of use, Magnesium Composite is used for the LED cooling system. This material from the aviation and aerospace sector, is employed here in serial manufacturing for the first time.

    Reach

    The reach of infrared sensors depends on the direction of movement. With tangential movements (parallel to the sensor) the reach is about 10 m on average, which is shortened when moving directly towards the sensor (radial movement). To attain the maximum reach the optimal mounting height of 2 m should be given.

    Installation

    For mounting, simply drill 4 holes and screw the housing tight.

    Mounting accessories are included in the scope of delivery.

    Connection

    As with any conventional luminaire, wire and insulate the protectiveconductor if necessary.

    Attachment

    Insert the desired E27 lamp and fit the cover.

    Set and done

    Make adjustments under the sensor, align the sensor and Done.
