Bosch Professional GCM 8 SJL: Sliding Mitre Saw for Maximum Capacity
The GCM 8 SJL Professional sliding mitre saw is a suitable machine for cutting wide workpieces such as large areas of laminate, parquet, decking and floor boards as well as for furniture construction parts or cable ducts. Comes with a high horizontal cutting capacity of 312 mm. Other advantages are the light weight of just 17.3 kg, the compact design and the handy carrying handle. Compared with its predecessor model, the GCM 8 SJL Professional offers a 15 per cent larger cutting surface and 100 W more power. A 1,600-W motor drives the saw blade at 5,500 rpm and thus ensures clean and quick work. Other outstanding features are the soft start electronics, laser measurement technology and two-point dust extraction.
Improved Angle Adjustment and Dust Extraction
The GCM 8 SJL Professional is characterised by its compact size and large cutting capacity. The bevel angle can be adjusted very quickly and easily: Simply flip the rocker lever and secure again at the desired value on the scale. Bevels of 47 degrees to the left and up to 2 degrees on the right are possible. The mitre angle can also be adjusted and locked as desired. Two pull-out side extensions enable convenient and safe processing of longer workpieces. The two-point dust extraction is designed in such a way that, in addition to the usual extraction outlets on the tool body behind the saw blade, a second mobile extraction outlet is situated directly on the saw arm.
Soft Start Electronics and Laser Technology
The GCM 8 SJL Professional sliding mitre saw, equipped with a powerful 1,600 W motor and soft start electronics, ensures safe and smooth starting of the tool as well as a long motor lifetime. With the integrated laser technology, a laser line is projected onto the workpiece so that it is much easier for the tradesperson to create a precise cut.
